| Current Writing News It's going to be a great 2010/11 Season at Old Town Temecula Community Theater. Temecula Presents showcases such unique and varied talents. Read more about it here.
- Also, I had the opportunity to meet up with an extraordinary artist named Merryl Jaye over the weekend while writing a story about the Temecula Jazz Fest. I am looking for an opportunity to write a feature about her work and many talents.
I recently interviewed a popular local band, The Answer to Classic Rock. Wow. Lots of history there. They actually formed as a band in 1963 and have been performing around the country ever since. Not such a bad gig when you can say you've opened for Cheap Trick, Jefferson Starship and Eddie Money.
Finally, a true and enduring favorite of mine--Shakespeare in the Vines is performing the summer classic of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." What could be better than Shakespeare played out among fragrant vineyards and under a moonlit sky?
Announcements I have officially joined San Diego Family Magazine as a contributing writer. While I have written and provided a monthly Web Watch column for this premiere publication for nearly 12 years, this is the first that I have been asked to provide copy on a steady basis. SDFM is such a trusted parenting resource for thousands of San Diego readers. I am proud to be part of the team. | |
